This Valentine was from my colleague, Lisa, who is also a classroom teacher. She gave out Star Wars Valentines to her class and this was the only one of its kind in the pack of cards she bought. She thought it was a little odd but that I would get a kick out of it. I did.

Dale and I went to the Dakota Jazz Club on Valentine's Day and saw one of our favorite singers, Stacey Kent.  She's an amazing vocalist who has a beautifully warm voice and has a particular gift for phrasing.
