Except for my cigar, this Valentine's Day was rather uneventful. Fewer and fewer kids are participating in Valentine's Day at school. I'd say about a third of them brought stuff. I sent a letter home with a list of all the kids and a request not to send candy or food. Many brought candy anyway. They ALL got hyper over the whole affair however.
Dale and I celebrated the day with some chocolate that Warren gave us for taking care of his cats recently.
We ate dinner in tonight. We were planning to go out this coming Saturday but the restaurant we want to go to is full. The earliest I could get a reservation is for February 25th so I took it. Our new couch and chair were delivered recently. We still need to set them up. For now we have a couple chairs where the couch was.
